TCU Graduation

Two of our dear college girls graduated this December from TCU. We have known Paige and Amber since they were freshmen in 2007 and they have been such great leaders in our college ministry over the past 3.5yrs! They even came to our wedding in 2008, saw Seth in the hospital in 2009, and we even had Amber's wedding shower in our new home in 2010! It's was a bittersweet graduation, these bestfriends and roommates graduated a semester early! In the past year they both got engaged to their childhood...and I do mean childhood sweethearts! Amber plans to marry Trent in Feb and then its off to Med School! Paige is moving to Annapolis, Maryland to be a middle school math teacher and to be closer to her fiance, Coleman, who is in the naval academy...their wedding is planned for 2012! We are going to miss these amazing godly girls!!
Happy Graduation Amber...on her way to med school!
Happy Graduation Birthday Girl! (it was Paige's birthday!)

Warm Christmas

The past 2 days in TX it has been in the mid to upper 70s and even 80s! Seth was having a rough day yesterday, so I put him in just his onesie and put a bunch of ornaments around him and took a few pictures to kill some time and help his mood a little. He loved being outside and surrounded by a bunch of shiny ornaments! I have tried to put these on flikr.com but haven't figured out the settings yet, so here are the pictures from our warm December day!

Get Ready, To Wiggle!

Yes, Australia's own, "THE WIGGLES!" Seth could watch these guys all day if we let him. This is the only thing he really watches on TV--I guess because they are continually moving and singing and wearing bright colors. One night Spencer decided to look up how the wiggles got started...yes, we need to get a life! Anyway, come to find out it started out as a college project for them--they were early education majors! They are pretty upstanding guys who have a lot of rules and boundaries to protect children and their show is one of the only ones that autistic children respond to! Anyway thank you Greg, Murray, Anthony, and Jeff for promoting wiggling (excercise) in our little boy....and for getting a number of your songs stuck in our heads like:
'Henry the Octopus'
'Dorothy the Dinosaur-romp-pomp-a-chomp'
'Its a Pirate Party'
'Whenever I Hear this Music'
'Rock-a-bye your bear'
'Quack-a-doodle-do'
