Mother's Day and Father's Day
Mother's Day was extra special this year for me. Not only do I get the privilege of being a mommy to these 2 sweet boys, we also found out we were expecting our 3rd baby, due January 2016! We went to eat at lil rizzos and for Father's Day we went to Buffalo Wild Wings! It was a great 2 months of celebrating parenthood

Birthday week
We celebrated Spencer's birthday all week this year. Tuesday we went out to dinner as a family to one of our favorite places at the lake called Wobbly Boots. Wednesday (his actual birthday) we gave him gifts that morning and had church that night where he was celebrated with balloons and a birthday song. Thursday is Spencer's day off. The weather was amazing (and by amazing I mean anything 60* or warmer). We went to one of our local state parks to play, explore, picnic and play at the beach. The boys spontaneously decided to play in the water. (We didn't bring extra clothes). So since they ended up completely soaked, Seth rode home naked and Noah in his diaper. Note to self: ALWAYS bring extra clothes. You'd think I would have learned by now as a boy mom to always bring extra clothes. Great memories were made nonetheless! Friday we had a cookout at our house with friends and their kids. We had about 30 people total at our house. It was loud, fun, chaotic and the perfect way to celebrate Spencer's birthday! Not to mention we had 2 birthday parties the next day as well as a full schedule on Sunday. But that's for another post.

He is Risen!
Easter weekend was great here in the Ozarks! The weather ended up being beautiful! Friday our church had a Good a Friday service where the focus was Christ's death. On Saturday we went with friends to our neighborhood association egg hunt. Lots of eggs and goodies were had! Sunday morning we had 2 services and a church wide brunch in between. We had 2 other young families over for lunch whose families were far away too. Lots of laughter and silly kiddos running around.

Midwestern Seminary Chapel
Spencer had the honor and privilege to preach at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City this week. He preached on the supremecy of Christ. Afterwards we had lunch with the provost (a good friend of Spencer's) and 3 deans of different departments. I could not be more proud to be his wife! Here is a link to watch his sermon on the Supremecy of Christ online: https://vimeo.com/123232444

February love and snow
Our first big snow of 2015! The last snow we really got was back in November, the week of Thanksgiving. Considering the snowpocolypse we got last year here at the lake, I've been waiting and waiting for lots of snow. But we went the whole month of January with no snow. Weird! Here we are half way through February and we finally got some play-worthy snow! (about 3-5 inches). The boys loved it of course! Seth also had his preschool Valentine's party on Feb. 13th complete with a chocolate fountain to dip strawberries, bananas and marshmallows into! We have the best room moms this year!

Seth's 5th birthday
Wasn't this big guy just born?! And is he really going to be in Kindergarten this fall?! Seth is 5?! He loved waking up to balloons all over his bedroom floor! (Thanks Pintrest!) This guy loves school, his friends, family, playing outside, books, legos, ninja turtles, rescue bots. He is slowing learning to sound out words and read during our reading time together. He also prides himself in knowing how to write his name and draw stick figures! This room will look vastly different come March. As He and Noah will start sharing a room! Seth is so excited! Seth also had a small birthday party at our church with his school and church friends.
