Field Trip

Last week I was able to go with Seth and his preschool class on his field trip to the fire station down the road. Seth loved every minute of it and was really brave meeting the firemen and hearing the sirens. Before heading back we walked across to mcdonalds to get a snack. Great memories!

Noah's 1st birthday party

Saturday September 21st was the perfect day for Noah's birthday party! The weather could not have been more perfect! We had his party at our church with family and friends. Since I have no idea what kind of things the boys are into at a year old, I usually do their party how their nursery was decorated. Noah's was a construction theme. Seth's was a sports theme. I had a lot of help from my mom ( who made the used tire sign) and my friend Heather the day of the party with last minute things. And of course spencer was a big help in getting the room set up the night before! Noah loved all the excitement and trying to keep up with the big kids (Seth and his friends). He had a feat time opening all of his wonderful gifts and diving into his cake. He was pretty cautious at first then took some good bites. Eventually some of it ended up in his hair! We had a great day and both boys slept really well that night! We missed our family and friends that weren't able to be there!! 

Indians and Tigers

Football season is in full swing! A couple of weeks ago our weekend was filled with high school and college football! Friday night we went to the Osage home game-go Indians! It's a 1 high school town which reminded me of Mansfield, my home town! (But now instead of 1, it has 5 high schools). Seth loved all the excitement and seeing friends from church and school! We left after watching the band-which Seth loved if course. The next day spencer took Seth and went with a buddy and his little boy to the Mizzou game! Seth and Blaine go to school together and are really good friends. You can tell by the pics it was hot in game day but the kids did greasy and had a lot of fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOAH

I can't say enough how fast this year has gone! Maybe it's because we have 2 now and I don't have time to sit and think about it most days. He's still a pretty relaxed kid most of the time. He really loves to be around Seth and play right beside him or mess up his perfectly stacked Legos. Noah already loves to wrestle and climb on Seth too, that will be much more interesting later. He's crawling everywhere and standing for a few seconds by himself. He's even taken one tiny step.  He can walk pretty well with a push toy but not great yet. Little man is sleeping thru the night really well and is taking 2 naps a day...sometimes 1 if the day is crazy, like Sundays. Good thing he's our more relaxed kid not to mention a little more adventurous and not as cautious as Seth. At his 1 yr check up he weighed 21lbs 10 oz (50%) and was 30in (60%). We are looking forward to his birthday party this weekend at our church!
