Happy 3rd Birthday Seth

Three years has gone by so fast! Granted some days seemed longer than others but all in all three years has flown by! Seth is becoming more and more of a little boy every day- embracing his love of cars, trucks, and rough housing with dad!  Not to mention declaring his independence with the phrase "I wanna try" meaning he wants to do it without help.  I am only hoping he has this same attitude about potty training in the weeks to come!  On his actual birthday we let him open his gift from us- a race track which he loved and he got to take cupcakes to his school to share with his friends.  The next weekend Pop and Gran came and drove all night to come to Seth's party and Noah's baby dedication.  We had the party at the church on the playground and in one of the Sunday school classrooms.  We had a total of about 80 people there including about 30 kids! Seth was a bit overwhelmed with all the gifts but we helped and he did great and said thank you for each of his gifts.  Thanks to my mom who made the extra party food! Thanks to Gran for holding Noah during the party, I know that must have been a rough job!  The next morning Noah had his baby dedication in front of the church.  The whole weekend was great!

Noah-2 months

November 8th - Noah is already 2 months old!! He can really smile and coo now which we all love! Seth likes to try and make him smile too! Noah started sleeping in his room last week and is already sleep trained (he can fall asleep on his own without being rocked to sleep!) He's sleeping longer at night and only waking up 2 times, usually around 1 or 2am and again at 4 or 5am. We are all starting to feel normal again. Noah's favorite thing to do right now is play on his little mat with toys above him to look at. Seth likes to play under it with Noah too! Noah is such a good sleeper especially with Seth running around and being noisy. We took him to his 2 month checkup this morning and the Dr said he looked perfect! He weighed 12lbs 5 oz and was 24in long. This was very close to Seth's 2 mo stats of 12lbs 7oz and 24.75 in. Noah is a great baby and we are really enjoying him!

Mr. Popular

Our Mr. Popular Seth went to a birthday party 3 out of 4 Saturdays this month!  He went to his friend Wyatt's birthday party at the church where the theme was John Deere Tractors- Seth was in heaven!  The next weekend we went to Emma's 3rd birthday party at Jellystone Park just down the highway from our house! What a neat family place! Its fashioned after Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park where families can camp or just come for the day.  We rode on top of a fire truck, danced with Boo Boo the bear, painted a cross during craft time and then had a hay ride! Seth napped great that day!  This past weekend, Seth went to his first Chuck E. Cheese party for his friend Ellie from church.  Talk about sensory overload!  He could have cared less about the pizza and cup cakes- this boy wanted to play! And play he did! Spencer took him around to all the games and he even got a little plastic bug as a prize with his ticket he won! We are all partied out...but we have one more in a couple of weeks...Seth's 3rd birthday party!

Halls Pumpkin Farm

Last year we found a free pumpkin farm in Grapevine and since Seth had so much fun last time, we decided to go back.  This year he really likes pumpkins and so he loved it even more.  Although it didn't feel like fall since it was 85 degrees...but that didn't ruin our fun.  Seth's favorite things were the tractors...he's such a boy!!  Noah had about as much fun as a 1 month old can being strapped in a carrier for about an hour...he did great and was a good sport!
