Thomas and Friends

Over the past year Seth's love of trains has grown! I knew when he played with the train table at Barnes & Noble that we had to get him at least a small track to play with. He got his first train on his first birthday as a gift and he has loved them ever since. He loves to watch the real trains go by close to our house and he'll point and say 'Te' (trying to say train). So I began my research of train tables just to see how much they were....not cheap thats what I found out! So I kept checking craigslist (a way for people to sell their used items online. Kind of like Ebay but you don't have to bid). After a few weeks of looking and not finding anything good, we finally found this one!! It was so cheap and had barely been used AND came with extra trains! Spencer and a friend of ours drove to north Fort Worth to pick it up after church on Wed. night. We put the track together so it would be ready when Seth woke up! Talk about a happy boy...he loves it! I eventually glued the tracks and other pieces down. Happy early Birthday Seth!!

Privacy Please

We are by no means starting the potty-training process, but wanted to get Seth comfortable with sitting on a small potty. I wanted to get one that didn't look like a toy so I got the most plain one I could find (thank you Target!) He really liked it and seemed pretty comfortable trying to sit on it in his diaper. When we put it in his bathroom he pulled up his shirt and tried to pull his shorts down! Thats a start! Anyway we probably won't start the full process until next summer....I've heard it takes boys a little longer than girls so we will wait. Just wanted to share these pictures...he's growing up too fast! He loves to put the lid down!
