Easter 2013

A traditional Easter family picture is mission impossible for our family this year, especially with a 3 year old boy and a wiggly infant.  So these will have to suffice.  The boys each got Easter baskets filled with goodies and another mom from the church (who has 4 boys!) and I threw together a last minute egg hunt at the church.  Spencer's first Easter as Sr. Pastor went great! We had tons of visitors and a breakfast between services where we met lots of people and the kids got a chance to run around.  It was a little chilly here but it was still a great weekend! He is Risen!

Noah 7 Months

Noah is 7 months! Hard to believe! He is now sleeping consistently through the night and still taking 3 naps a day.  He's loving all his solid food that we give him and will eat anything.  He still loves his bottle though, especially right before bed.  He is still all smiles...with everyone!  His latest achievement is sitting up all by himself for long periods of time before toppling over.  He's also starting to grab Seth's toys, which makes for fun playtimes with the boys.  God is giving me lots of good teachable moments for Seth during these playtimes together.  His favorite pastimes are jumping in his jumper and being tickled!  The pictures below were taken at a friend's villa we stayed at during our weekend in Branson.

The Big Move

This post is way over due because of our non-stop busy lives at the lake this past month. We've been busy eating weekly dinners with families and meeting new people and just getting to know the area.  Its pretty calm here right now because of the extra long/unsual which keeps the vacationers away, but by memorial day this place will be packed until about labor day in Sept.  Seth is really starting to like his preschool and he has a new friend at church named Carter that he really likes! I've also found a new place to get my hair done...if you're a girl you know how important finding a good place can be!  We've become pretty good with names of people at our church fairly quickly.  Its all starting to become more and more familiar. Enjoy the pictures below of our March 2013 in Texas and Missouri
