Noah 9 months

3 months shy of being 1 year old?! How is this possible?! Our little man went to 9 month check up at our new pediatrician in Eldon, a city 20 min north of the lake.  I heard lots of good things about her, and they were all true! Our experience was great! Noah weighed in at 17lbs 14oz (30%) and 28in long (20%).  Seth weighed a little over 19lbs and 28.25in long at 9 months.  Noah in a matter of days went from taking a few crawling steps to all out master crawler! He's trying to pull up and stand up alot! He's everywhere and wants to be where Seth is and do whatever he's doing.  One of Noah's favorite things is to go into Seth's room every morning (he squeals when we reach the door) and sit on his bed and play for awhile.  He's trying his hand at table food and is becoming an expert at picking up cheerios!
monthly pictures are getting infinitely harder now that he wants to crawl away

Swimming Lessons

Excited to say that Seth is in swim lessons! And loving it! He's doing so well.  He goes twice a week for about 30 minutes. They practice putting their face in the water as well as using the kick board to practice kicking.  The teacher helps them with front float and back float.  The ymca is using the racquet club pool to do swim lessons.  And since we are staying there we thought it couldn't be more convenient!

Riverview VBS 2013

We had a great VBS this year! Seth got to participate for the first time and he loved it! He got to be with the 4 year olds since he had a good friend in that class and he was the oldest in the younger class.  He kept up like a champ! The evening before VBS started we had a carnival with games and a bounce house.  Seth went in the bounce house all by himself, we think it was because his friend Carter went in! A little positive peer pressure...and he had a blast! The VBS theme this year was Kindgom Chronicles and we emphasized the armor of God and the kids made a piece of armor each day and learned about each piece.  Seth is really into knights, swords and shields so he loved every bit of it! They also had a comptetion to see which grades brought the most money to go to missions.  The team that brought the most go to throw a pie in Spencer and Steve's (the associate/youth pastor) face. They all loved it...especially Seth!

Noah 8 months

Ok so Noah is already 9 months old and Im just now posting his 8 month pictures...oops! Our month of May was super busy with trips to Texas and our A/C unit breaking and being replaced and living in a temporary condo! Noah will go to his 9 month checkup in just a few days to get his shots and his stats.  At 8 months Noah is a really good sitter and can catch himself if he starts to fall over.  He started off the month not being able to crawl and was crawling by the end of 8 months! Good bye are the days Noah staying where I put him.  His bottom 2 teeth are all the way in and are so cute when he smiles.  He loves to watch Seth play and also go into big brother's room with mommy to wake him up in the morning and from his nap.  He's starting to make that switch from 3 naps a day to 2 naps which is good because he is able to stay up a little bit longer during the day which means that we can get out more!
