Uncle Stew and Aunt K come to TX

This whole week we kept telling Seth that his Uncle Stew and Aunt K (Kassie) were coming to see him...then we would show him their pictures and he would smile really big! He warmed up to them really fast and loved playing with them while they were here! peek-a-boo and chase with uncle Stew and walks and bathtimes with Aunt K. We also went to the Dallas World Aquarium and the Splash pad while they were here! We all had a big weekend! looking up at the birds

Recently we bought Seth a little pool to go in our backyard for the hot summer days ahead in Texas! One Sunday afternoon it was about 90 so we tried it out! The water was really cold, but he didn't seem to care, he loved it!

Spring is here!

In Texas one of the first signs of Spring is when the bluebonnets (the TX state flower) are in bloom! They can be found on the sides of busy highways or in open fields. Many families make it a tradition to take annual bluebonnet pictures of their kids...we happen to be one of those families! This was actually taken in the front lawn of a Nazarene church just 5 minutes from our house! Happy Spring!

Baby Blue

How could you not get lost in these baby blues? Introducing Miss Emma, the older sister of Brock (see previous post). Her stunning eyes and charming personality just makes me love her that much more! While little brother Brock was eating or being comforted between shots, Emma hopped up in front of the camera! This girl is a natural! She is also one of Seth's favorite friends!

I finally got the chance to photograph a baby other than my own as a photographer! A friend of mine wanted 2 month pictures of her newest arrival! He was such a sweet baby to work with. First Flower (weed actually)

A couple of weeks ago Seth gave me his first flower! My heart melted and I could have cared less that it was actually a weed. However, not too long after that he wanted it back and he held on to it for at least an hour!
